:)

O God, when i listen to the voices of the animals, to the sound of the trees, the murmur of the water, the singing of the birds, to the rushing of the wind, or to the rumble of thunder, i see in them the evidence of Your unity; i feel that You are supreme power, supreme knowledge, supreme wisdom, supreme justice.

O God, i also recognize you in the difficulties i am experiencing now. God, let your satisfaction be my satisfaction, and let me be Your joy, the joy that a Father takes in his child. and let me remember You with calmness and determination, even when it is hard for me to say: I LOVE YOU.

my 'movie of the sembreak'

"So if I asked you about art, you'd probably give me the skinny on every art book ever written. Michelangelo, you know a lot about him. Life's work, political aspirations, him and the pope, sexual orientations, the whole works, right? But I'll bet you can't tell me what it smells like in the Sistine Chapel. You've never actually stood there and looked up at that beautiful ceiling; seen that. If I ask you about women, you'd probably give me a syllabus about your personal favorites. You may have even been laid a few times. But you can't tell me what it feels like to wake up next to a woman and feel truly happy. You're a tough kid. And I'd ask you about war, you'd probably throw Shakespeare at me, right, "once more unto the breach dear friends." But you've never been near one. You've never held your best friend's head in your lap, watch him gasp his last breath looking to you for help. I'd ask you about love, you'd probably quote me a sonnet. But you've never looked at a woman and been totally vulnerable. Known someone that could level you with her eyes, feeling like God put an angel on earth just for you. Who could rescue you from the depths of hell. And you wouldn't know what it's like to be her angel, to have that love for her, be there forever, through anything, through cancer. And you wouldn't know about sleeping sitting up in the hospital room for two months, holding her hand, because the doctors could see in your eyes, that the terms "visiting hours" don't apply to you. You don't know about real loss, 'cause it only occurs when you've loved something more than you love yourself. And I doubt you've ever dared to love anybody that much. And look at you... I don't see an intelligent, confident man... I see a cocky, scared shitless kid. But you're a genius Will. No one denies that. No one could possibly understand the depths of you. But you presume to know everything about me because you saw a painting of mine, and you ripped my fucking life apart. You're an orphan right?"

para kanino ka bumabangon?

ako?

"waay ko ambisyon maging rich. i just want to be free and do the things i want to do. there's something wrong with me, i think", says one of my high school friend. and she added, " gusto ko ya ang chaktuhan lng bla aw. kay ga praning ka man kung tam-an kaw ka rich." and she asked me what is my passion. i was caught off guard.

can't help but smile.

she's like snow white who fled the castle and prefers the company of her sweet dwarfs, or better yet, the princess who left kingdom far far away and live a cursed life with his ogre, happily ever after. there's really something wrong with her. WTFH, i want to get rich. everybody wants to!!!

i realize she has a point. i wonder how many percent of the world's population does not want, say, a yacht, a beverly hills mansion, or a limo. IS MONEY EVERYTHING???

NO. and let me tell you why. money can buy you clothes, but never the confidence to wear it with. it can buy you a queen-size bed, but never the quality of sleeping. it can buy you a creme brulee, but never the sweet tooth and the appetite to eat it. it can buy you a sumptuous dinner, but never the person to dine it with. it can whiten your teeth and buy you braces, but it can never buy the smile to wear it with. it can buy you books, but never the knowledge we can get from it. it can buy education, but never the things we learned outside the classroom. it can bring us to places we want, but never the experience of it. it can buy us a camera to capture moments, but never those moments, never. it can buy NASA a new space shuttle, but never the assurance for the astronauts to come back safe and alive. it can buy us a house, but never a home.

money may be something, but it isn't everything. and there are millions of reasons for that. :]

i believe that if God really wanted us all to be rich, he would have placed us in Jupiter in the first place at the dawn of creation. could you imagine planet Earth with 6 billion yachts, 6 billion mansions, and 6 billion limos??? Atlas would give up, and probably would throw us out of solar system. that's why God created michaelangelo, da vinci, einstein, shakespeare, and the manugtaho in our neighborhood. God wants to tell us to pursue our own passions in life.
follow excellence, and success will chase you. be the best of what you can be and leave everything up to Him. and most of all, be happy. because SUCCESS ISN'T ALWAYS HAPPINESS, BUT HAPPINESS IS ALWAYS A SUCCESS.

ignorance. is that a bad thing? i'm not after the utopia of knowing everything; i just disdain the feeling of not knowing something. is it a bad thing?

forgive. pray. let go.

dear God,

please shower me with patience, flood me with patience until i can no longer take it anymore. You alone knows how much pain i have suffered. i know that when you give us sorrow, you love us. but please, don't love me too much. i don't know how much more i can handle. hais. i am forgiving them because i know that's what You want me to do, and forget the idea of getting revenge because nature has it's own way of getting me even. i know, too, that You're happiness is much more that mine. please don't leave me, I NEED YOU.

amen,

;((

question i often ask myself..

how does one forgive?
- i think we forgive because the pain had faded away. we forgive, not for other people, but for ourselves. we forgive because we want ourselves to grow, to change, and to be free. to err is human, as they say, but to forgive is divine.

^_^ summer internships are over now! yihee! back to school on tuesday again. ;p Lord, THANK YOU, 4th year na ko!

kaleidoscope..

so after a month and nine days of blogless solitude, I'M BACK!
yes, i am really back. doh. hehe! i dunno how to start.
one month. nine days. whew..anyway, that blinking cursor is talking again in front of my face. the last time i was here was my mom's birthday ( i'm actually worried about her right now, really. we're actually waiting for my cousin to arrive in a minute to check her condition. i know, this is isn't something dangerous, but i'm just worried. haaaay..). i don't really care whatever harm happens to me. do everything to harm me, nail me. hit me. pacquiao-punch me. or even cast that avada kedavra curse on me. i don't care. all is well in the world, just don't touch my family and the people who are close to me, i.e. my bestfriend(isa pa gd ni! kaulugtasan ni klase nga tawo. you are giving me headaches. haha!). but mom's a bit okay now. indi lng gd ko mapanatag. galantaw pa gni d cla cbng Survivor: Tocantins. where is that anyway? tocantins. bizarre.

the great Francis M. was right, it's a kaleidoscope world.

it's been a long time since i have 'visited' my space here. i miss writing. i write because basically my life is messy. i write because there's no one(except my bestprend) who's interested to listen. i write because my mouth can't seem to utter the words inside me. or maybe, just maybe, mahilig lng gd ko guro magtago sng mga bagay bagay nga gakatabo sa kabuhi ko. writing is a solace. an outlet. i write when something shit happens(which happens all the time by the way.). u know, from all the crap and shit your blogger has been through. i haven't written for a very long time. so does that mean i now have a better life? think again.

in retrospect, lotsa things happened this past month or so..u know, summer. internship. midterm is quite okay, but final's really excruciating to the brain! kabudlay kay ma'am Sima maghatag quiz kag exam. goodluck to that very clean and erasure-free white notes. haha! u know what i mean. internship came to its end too. bittersweet. bittersweet again. and some more bittersweet feeling. i will miss Rx, but i will miss a thousandfold the people we've been with this whole internship. to Mercury Drug - Iznart, my eternal thanks go to you. THANK YOU. and to smarty smart pebbles, sweet antoniette(hahaha! ssshhh..she'll hate me forever for this! lols.), and melmelmelmelissa(*ehem!!! hahaha..), i know, the ride was tough. for all our boredom-kills-moments, hello-tita-norrie intercom calls, yes-wala-si-ma'am-soping-for-fifteen-days! exuberations, and all the HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAs in the world, THANK YOU. didto naman ta nyu liwat ma specialization! hehe!

it's hard to put this experience into a blog. words would do no justice. words would be, kulang.

theology 106 ended too. ma'am hojilla is the best theo teacher. =))

finals ended today. and summer's over(kay hambal sng PAG-ASA, it's rainy season na kuno starting today, though the sun is still blistering hot.). at last, classes have ended(kelangan pa gling magbalik bwas)! i can now devote my time reading pending books. sorry to nicholas sparks and stephanie meyer. and bob ong has a new book coming! i'll be watching out for that. i can now watch american idol finale! yey..hehe! and i think i saw harry potter on his broomstick last night. or was it madam hooch? i dunno. anyway, July 15!!!

men are creatures that are constantly yearning to find themselves. there are many roads. pick one. and when u get stumbled, try the other ones. who knows..

stay hott, it's summer still. =)

P.S. it's nice to drop-by once in a while here. and sorry for being rusty. hehe!

me is scatterbrained..again.

-- thursday, april 2, 2009. it was the first day of my internship sa botica! and i was thirty minutes late. so, how was that? and now u ask why. my pants got stinky and dirrty and messy. there's always a first time.*sighs..clumsy abi eh. "clumsiness is next to breakages!" <--- motto sa lab! haha..i never expected that internship could be this tiring and wearysome. good thing Mercury Iznart is airconditioned or else it must be like hell. summer pa daan! me and my fellow interns(pebbles, antoniette, and melissa) are enjoying and always having a laugh with the Pharmacy Assistants. ka sadya sa ila! pero iban ok lng. mabuot cla tanan except kay ma'am sophie kay she's a little strict which is understandable coz she's the manager, aka 'The Boss'. we stay most of the time in the Rx area, which is by the way very confusing the first time one sets foot in there. it's hard to remember all those generic names, brand names, and amount. oh poor neurons of mine! Internship can be summarized in three words: sadya, kagulutom, kag makapoy! i'm tired as hell. whew..

-- thank God for this two-day rest. and i mean, R-E-S-T. one can never really describe the haggardness we feel at the end of the day. i'm like a zombie ---alive but dead.
you don't have the energy to do things anymore and all u wanna do is crawl on your bed and doze off and call it a day. zZzZzZz... alaxan and extra joss, anyone?

-- everytime i go to my room, there are books staring at me waiting to tell their stories. stephen king is really good. pet sematary! haha..i like scary books and movies dan. kapin pa mga brutal. waaaah! it invigorates my spirit! it excites my neurons! hahaha..and salamat kay jaret sa mga libro. =)

-- today is april 6. the birthdate of my mom. and i dunno what to say(or write). i think words can never do any justice when it comes to the degree of love our mothers give us. i'm sorry shakespeare, but words are pathetic. it's her birthday to day, and no big celebration coz we are utterly poor. it'll be just us and some relatives will come i guess. poor! mom may not be wonderwoman, but i know God made her wonderful. she's the one who taught me the basics of Christian faith. and thank you for everything ma. I LOVE YOU.
*i just can't put into words what i'm really trying to say. dammit.

stay happy. stay superb.
and have a meaningful Holy Week everyone!

=)

the fab four!!!

The Beatles, aside fr0m ancient civilizations and dinosaurs ---is the reason why i wish i was born in the past. uhmm..not actually born. born is too strong a word i guess. it's more of like time-travel.
Beatlemania is a fandom. for some, a religion(too strong a word again..hehe.). and for others, a cult. if you're a Beatles fan, stand up and be counted.

let's listen to what music in the 60's was. let's relive the past.
weeeeh!!!

'stand by me'
i liked it the first time i heard this. there's a new remix of this. but i dunno who did it.

'all you need is love'
remember that smart commercial years way back? yeah, The Beatles did it originally.

'help!'
this is the very first Beatles song i listened to.

'with a little help from my friends'
i love this one! ringo starr did this one. nice nice nice..and so is the yellow submarine.

'imagine'
john and yoko. john wearing his signature hair and glasses. this is downright sublime..=)

first day jitters..

the white uniform ---i still have to run some errands over this one.
the not white shoes ---okay, it's not entirely white. watt-da.
DTR, waiverSSS, recommendation letter, medical, application form, good moral certificate(why in the world did they issue me this one?! i don't practice morality. and morality is always in cahoots with society, which is by the way stereotypical. together, they violate my philisophy---INDIVIDUALISM. hahaha..) ---DONE.
and the telephone call we've all been waiting for sooo long ---haven't been transmitted yet.

................................................now i'm poker faced.

duty na!!! well, uhmm..almost.

my teacher in Theo 106 didn't show up. okay, another pes0s from our tuition fee went out flying.

for weeks, i've been contemplating when exactly will we start our internship sa botica. my classmates started theirs yesterday afternoon after ma'am Sima made the best out of my batchmates' acting talentSSS. haha..yes, we had dramatization on what to do in case a patient asks for this one, does this, how to deal with them, and how to place a call on the patient's physician. Pharmacy 2 goes star circle quest! and ma'am Sima is a good mentor. pang Gabby-Sharon ang directing skills ni ma'am! hehehe!

i won't make our fairy tale stories with Mercury Drug short because there's no way i could make it. tni may Pluto Drug or di gni Jupiter Drug man bah.
but here's the real score; uhmmm..we just don't know when exactly can we start our internship. all the managers said that our application forms haven't been received yet in the main office there in manila. so all we can do is WAIT and cross our fingers. =)) *all fingers are crossed

i'm happy to see my batchmates wearing their white uniform with matching white shoes! bskan wala ko naka uniform, in a way i saw my self in them. it seems bizarre. surreal even. that white unform means a passage of rite. they were happy, and you can tell it with the smiles and banters they throw at each other. the girls were drop-dead beautiful and sexy. uhmm..u know, the curves. hehehe! the boys were suave. girls and boys were all sophisticated! not to mention debonair. and jumie was the only one who took the time to prep up herself with her make up kit. ma'am Sima said, "girls must only put on a 'mild' make up". and jumie defended herself saying that hers was mild. with all the blinding glitters, yeah it was mild. hahaha! i am honestly dreading what heavy make up means to her. this woman has the fabulosity that one can never have in her entire lifetime. =)

but after a month or so, i know our enthusiasm will eventually fade away. uniforms will be stained. and shoes will no longer look as new and shiny as it used to be.

but hell who cares?!

get excited if u want! we're just living the moment! get that clothes dirrty. kick that shoes and walk with style baby!

and when this internship ends, i know, we'll never be the same again. =))

hooray to batch 2011!

"quote unquote"

i like Grey's Anatomy. no, i ADORE Grey's Anatomy. this is not someone speaking as a fan. this is someone speaking as a devotee. *chuckles..

main character doing voice-overs. that is what i notice about American shows and sitcoms. u know..the murdered lady in Desperate Housewives, the Gossip Girl in GG(xoxo, Gossip Girl), and Meredith Grey of Grey's Anatomy, et al...it's good to have those, coz i still find it hard to fathom what they're trying to say. and i want to share to all of you some of Meredith's voice-overs/realizations/quotes.

here goes:

"At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence you in. Life is messy. That's how we're made. So, you can waste your lives drawing lines. Or you can live your life crossing them. But there are some lines... that are way too dangerous to cross. But here's one thing i know; the view from the other side is spectacular."
--**life is messy. true. maybe that's y i keep on blogging coz life is indeed, messy. i wanted something where i can freely scribble the mess of my life. nay lng, du ga layu na ta haw..hehe! anu ang point ko man? du kabudlay i-paraphrase ni! basta, life is full of lines! haha! u know, wrinkles.

"You know how when you were a little kid and you believed in fairy tales, that fantasy of what your life would be, white dress, prince charming who would carry you away to a castle on a hill. You would lie in bed at night and close your eyes and you had complete and utter faith. Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Prince Charming, they were so close you could taste them, but eventually you grow up, one day you open your eyes and the fairy tale disappears. Most people turn to the things and people they can trust. But the thing is its hard to let go of that fairy tale entirely cause almost everyone has that smallest bit of hope, of faith, that one day they will open their eyes and it will come true."
--**an author once said that fairy tales don't teach us dragons exist. dragons are already there breathing fires on their mouth and nostrils. what fairy tales teach us is how to kill those dragons. my own fantasy? to infiltrate willy wonka's chocolate factory!!! yum!

"At the end of the day faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it. Its like one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle. And its not so important happy ever after, just that its happy right now. See once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you , and once in a while people may even take your breath away."
--**uh oh. life isn't about the number of years we take. rather, it's all about the moments that take our breath away. indeed, the expected is what keeps us going...and the unexpected is what changes our lives.

"A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people would listen to what he had to say. I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo? The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. Until we finally understand for ourselves what Benjamin Franklin really meant. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying."
--**i have my own set of fears(spiders!!!). and i know u have yours too. we all have, actually. i think what we all need is the belief that you can overcome them. if you can't overcome them, then undercome them. MJ(michael jordan, not michael jackson) shouldn't have been the best basketball player had he not miss 2000+ shots. paul ehrlich couldn't have discovered Salvarsan if he did not fail for 605 times. salvarsan 606( i guess we all know that). great men and women didn't just come down to history without trying, and consequently failing. u see, self-belief is all that matters. go out. the world is yours to explore. make mistakes. take a few bold moves(MOVES. not MOVIES. okey? haha!). because people who always try are those people you always see winning. self-belief.

"Pain, you just have to ride it out, hope it goes away on its own, hope the wound that caused it heals. There are no solutions, no easy answers, you just breath deep and wait for it to subside. Most of the time pain can be managed but sometimes the pain gets you where you least expect it. Hits way below the belt and doesn't let up. Pain, you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can't outrun it and life always makes more. Look at this. Everybody wants a life without pain. And what does it get you? She needs to be on a poster somewhere to remind people, pain is there for a reason."
--**i think some pain are self-inflicting. if you're in pain, and if u want to cry it out, then cry it out. if u want to break the neck of the one who caused you this, then break it! haha! joke lng. pain. a natural thing. there's no sense on dwelling on things that hurt us. as i said, pain can sometimes be self-inflicting. smile lng bla! nu gd na man..remember; what doesn't kill us makes us a better person. and what makes us happy makes us a better person man japun...HAHAHA! t0inx!

"Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate."
--**yes, being alive is enough reason to be thankful. live. love. laugh. and u'll be more thankful. =))

"At the end of the day, there are some things you just can't help but talk about. Some things we just don't want to hear, and some things we say because we can't be silent any longer. Some things are more than what you say, they're what you do. Some things you say cause there's no other choice. Some things you keep to yourself. And not too often, but every now and then, some things simply speak for themselves."
--**whew! the quote says it all. =)

"Communication. It's the first thing we really learn in life. Funny thing is, once we grow up, learn our words and really start talking the harder it becomes to know what to say. Or how to ask for what we really need."
--**true. some things are just hard to utter. like...ma'am Corpus pwede namun malantaw grades namun(especially sa midterm!!! structural formulas are killing me)? hehe!

"At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing, where we all keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, is usually a load of bull. So we pick and choose who we want to remain close to, and once we've chosen those people, we tend to stick close by. No matter how much we hurt them, the people that are still with you at the end of the day - those are the ones worth keeping. And sure, sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes, that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need."
--**maybe that's why we have bestfriends. coz we can't do it all on our own. we just can't. we need someone who could lift us up. someone who simply listens to us. someone to tell our failures and dreams to. and someone to drink with. =)

wanna see season 5..

dammit. i miss this.

*Denny came down from heaven to bid his last goodbye to Izzie.

..simply the most poignant moment in Grey's Anatomy.

i wanna be naked too! =)

i have a problem.
i am dripping with sweat.
and i dunno what's the remedy.

men sweat twice more than women do.
but your blogger is sweating thousandfolds!
it's okay, i'm not so-human anyway.
maybe God didn't intend me to live in a tropical country. it gives me enough reason to bec0me a Swiss. =)

halo-halo. mais con yelo ni Nang Teri(ang neybor namun). Boracay! dirrrty ice cream. the beach(and bitches flaunting their body in the beach..ooops! hehe!). henna tattoes. salbabida. Paraw Regatta! sago't gulaman. Baguio! trunks and bikinis. havaianas and ipanemas. family outing. buko juice. fruit salad. pineapple juice! sunblocks. shades. beach volleyball. frisbee. the sun. the President surfing in Siargao(the surfing board is bigger than her!). the President playing golf in Baguio with the oligarchs of the society. the President going to Europe with all the members of her clan, not to mention the yayas. SHE'S NOT CORRUPT. yes, that was another understatement from the Arroyo administration.

a corrupt President ruling an ailing land. it makes my summer more unbearable than ever! ugh.
gimme that buko juice please.*sips..

welcome to summer in the Philippines.
(*type ko gd bla tirahon si Gloria. duno y..hihihi! )

i feel so hott. my summer memories just keep on flowing back at me. whew..n0w i'm getting nostalgic. hello childhood...my most vivid memory of summer was when my mother got furious with me. me and my 2nd cousins went out in the middle of the day in the scorching heat of the sun. i was out there swimming. swimming in the lake. nothing wrong actually. until m0m later found out that i nearly got drowned. bam! kastigo militar and bartolina for two days!!! it was the moment that gave me the meaning of electricution. kay hambal namun manguha lng kmi bulak kay ma Flores kmi. ang ending naghagaday kmi ya nga mag parentehanay maglangoy. per0 nag enjoy man ko langoy!. hehe! and speaking of bartolina, i would usually join the company of my nephews, nieces, and cousins flying the burador(kite) after days of being imprisoned in your own house. what fun! actually, i'm just the one who settles for a burador. gusto nila ya tanan pinaka(the bigger and more artistic version of a kite). then my father would help me when he sees i have difficulty flying it. a kite is easy to maintain than it's counterpart. easy to make. all you need is glue, bamboo sticks, and a roll of hilo. alas! now you have one. we would usually let it fly the whole day by tying the string up to a tree. teh swerte kung ara pa ya imu pagka aga eh. kis-a dan sa subra ka hangin gaka utod ang nylon o hilo. summer is also the time to heal broken wounds, literally. we would get bruises and wounds due to non-stop snowboarding, only this time there are no snows. haha! we live in the vicinity of a golf course(and contrary to popular belief, it isn't mine..hahaha! oh i'm dreaming again!), so there are lots of hills and miniature bukid. upod ko ya mga ka edad ko mag slide. my relatives are afraid of this coz their 'skin' might get 'bruised'. pe0ple, that's what you call 'overacting'. there's this piece of wood(ang lawanit na bla) that we sit on..and wo0osh! we were roaring like maniacs! sometimes a single piece of wood would contain ten people on it. baw ah. du Titanic eh n0h? bruises. broken b0nes. scars. name it. it's like a box of chocolate y'know..you never know what you'll get. haha..fun. fun. fun. and of course summer won't be complete without Flores de Mayo(wh0 said only good children can go to that? hehe..). dunn0 what happened but i seldom see kids doin' it these days. when the clock ticks 3 o'clock in the afternoon, it only means one thing...ma Flores de Mayo na ta kay may arr0z caldo! hehe..that caldo made my summer a bit hotter. and have i mentioned our trips to Boracay? damn! too bad Talipapa was engulfed by fire. i get such a high feeling when i'm travelling a long distance y'know. the white sand. the restobars. the ambience. and what's Boracay without naked people(well..sort of.)huh?! hehe! next year we'll all be spending our summer in Manila. Manufacturing Pharmacy, baby. set aside MOA, heck, we'll go to Baguio! hahaha..

these are the fun times i remember about my summer. or at least some of the things i remember about my summer. i guess there are just some things that you could only do in summer. moreover, the summer of your childhood life.

and gimme some buko juice again please..*swallows the buko juice...with the buko shell!*

P.S. i've been typing this entry for exactly 2 days. it's kinda late. and this is a valuable tip for everybody; procrastinating makes your entry a crappy 0ne!

summer only comes once a year, so u better enjoi the sun! now! =)

me is scatterbrained..

this is just pure nonsense blabbing.
y0u better grab the Feb issue of FHM than spend your time reading this.

here goes..

-- last night, i have this bad sore throat that restrained me from eating h0pia, my LFS(last food syndrome). and right n0w, i'm quite sick. Streptococcus pyogenes, any0ne?!

-- i've come to know that songs like Kisapmata(Rivermaya), Let It Be(The Beatles), and Tomorrow(Avril Lavigne) are the best sleeping pills in town.

prepare for this..
-- your blogger is finding a hard time balancing school life and sex life. HAHAHA:O oh gee..this must be the result of our group reports in Theology 104: Moral Theology. my ever virginal and chaste mind had been exp0sed to things that are new to me; pornography and PMS(ladies, it's pre-marital sex..not, u know..hehehe!). ma'am _________, if y0u, by any means, happen to read this, this is the main reason why i've been playing hide-and-seek with your subject. (wow. your blogger does projection perfectly. just perfect. hahaha!) teh gabugtaw man ko bla past 5(our class starts at 7:oo, and ma'am arrives before 7:00! yes, before 7...where does she live? does she not experience traffic? where did she get her broomstick? oh i see..ma'am is renting harry potter's Firebolt. or thestrals perhaps? hehe!) kis-a dan kanami gd magtulog kapin pa bal-an mu nga wala man lng quiz. *smirks..

-- this day commemorates the last day of skyrocketting breakages, chemical spills and explosions, adrenaline rushes, dead sea scroll-like requisitions, successful and better-luck-next-time experiments, oh-baby-i'm-drooling pre and p0st lab discussions(haha! sshhh...), ma'am-Julien-stop-looking-at-me-i'm-natutunaw moments(hehe!), and as far as Biochem lab is concerned( this is too much! haha..), graduate na kmi sa mga experiments! yis!

Experiment 17: Analysis of Blood.
last experiment.
DONE.

* i can actually feel my heart, spleen, and liver jumping up and down. =))

there are many funny and disastrous moments in Mendel 401. hmmm...where do i start? i can still remember ma'am corpus 'complimenting' Almond for his extreme resourcefulness. Almond, since when pa naging stirring rod ang test tube? since when?! hahaha..the class had a good laugh at that one. and the principle of boiling involves water. what if there's no water to boil? b0iling man na japun? teh kundi nagbaliskad na lng water bath ni Zed kay wala tubig! beakers, buka. si Zed, no comment lng. shock ang beauty ni ma'am. hahaha! h0w engrossing are those games in your cellphone Zed? how?! f0cus man b. baw! i think group 2(nick, zed, paul, judel, and n0ng edwin) will soon find themselves constantly visiting at Gringott's Bank withdrawing quite large amount of penny. 0kay lng na ah! haciendero baby man si judel! haha! ilisipon na lng sa kamot ila nabilin nga apparatus. ilisipon. sa. kamot. it's somewhat a bittersweet feeling though. no more experiments. which means, our muscles(especially the facial muscle! haha!) won't get the exercise they usually get when there's a class in the lab. no more explosions. no more tan-awa man-mayu-b-kung-anu-color-sng-precipitate-ya-hu moments with ma'am Corpus. and bye bye to Senate Inquistions. o0ops! haha..

i never had single moment of regret that i belong(and will forever belong) to Phar2B. yes, our class is far from perfect. but still, it's like heaven conjured up some charm to let us all fall into one section. sadya ang section. g0odlcuk na lng kay Gideon kay nagsaylo xa sa A(but rumor has it nga mabalik daw xa kuno, di ya kmi matiis eh..haha!)

funny. alive. noisy. smart. intelligent. witty. striving. may cooperation(kis-a wala man eh..far from perfect gni!=]). outrageously whacky! different people with the same goal; to pass the Pharmacy Licensure Exam! 100%! n0 retake! u know what they say about diversity? it indeed creates beauty. thru defeat and glory, WE ARE ALL ONE.

friends & cold beers..

as i was trying to undo things in my room moments ag0, i saw this piece of paper circularly folded inside a bamboo cup. this paper is actually the paper they gave us when we made our way to the stage when we had our graduation. it's the very paper that your school gives you as ' the diploma'(but actually, the real ones haven't been printed yet). i just have this hobby of collecting pieces of things from imp0rtant and memorable milestones 0f my existence. i still have the candle i lit when we had our pr0m(oh gee! hehe..), the invitation, notes my classmates wrote for me, pictures, one of the stars my classmates made for our christmas decor, and that bamboo cup is in fact the one we used for our 'West Side Story' presentation( i wasn't the actor chasing Maria, hokey? i was at the backstage...busily and secretly destroying their scene! haha..), and lotsa lots of memorabilia. i miss highschool soo freaking bad!!!

the paper contains something i want to share to all of you.
so here g0es..
warning: TOXIC. highlevel of ka-corny-han awaits!*chuckles..

Don't ever forget that you are unique.
Be your best self,
and not an imitation of someone else.
Don't listen to those
who ridicule the choices you make.
Travel the road that you have chosen
and don't lo0k back with regret.
You have to take chances
to make your dreams happen.
Remember that there is plenty of time
to travel another road...and still another...
in your journey through life.

Take time to find the route
that is right for you.
You will learn something valuable
from every trip you take,
so d0n't be afraid to make mistakes.
Tell yourself that you're okay,
just the way you are.
Make friends who respect your true self.
Take time to be al0ne, too,
so you can know just how terrific
your own company can be.
Remember that being alone
doesn't always mean being lonely,
it can be a beautiful experience
of finding your creativity,
your heartfelt feelings,
and the calm and quiet peace deep inside you.

Please don't ever forget that you are special
and very much loved.

P.S.
cheet ----> nickel nickelback knicknack nickelodeon. wuhaha! ma d0nate k0 b0ok! okay man? nu cmu? HEHE:0

i guess what we really need in life are g0od friends,
and some cold beers.

and a blog to give thanks to the former.

tipsy, ask no more.

whining.

m0i favorit0! i like whining u know. it exercises my body, i get a little privacy for myself (c0z family members tend to keep a 10-meter distance away from me..hehe!), and the monetary value of my personal things depreciate(hehe again!). and by whining, millions of queries pop out of my gray matter. whining why i have to go thru this and that. why destiny not just present itself in front of us, so as to save time and effort. why a person has to go humongous ordeals just to make 'it'. why people and things have to come unexpectedly and finding urself next day you wake up, bang! they're gone. it hurts u know. there's just so many whys..and whys again..and whys some more.

so here they go. warning: loads of immaturity ahead!!!

to Life,
why are you so hard to deal with? what's wrong with you? where's the road not taken? where's the road frequently taken? is it true, that the road frequently taken is safe? and if it's safe, could you assure me that the traffic there is not terrible? do tell me.

to College Life,
i got u wrong on my first step. why? what went wrong? had u told me earlier that i got it wrong, i could have saved myself from drowning. why do u have to plant eyebags on our faces? why do u have to keep us nocturnal? and why did you allow me last time to ride that last trip going back home? alas dose na ko ya kapuli! tap0s gn lakat ko pa 1 km nga isahanon lng sa dalan. nu mati mu ck0n bampira?! hehe..

to Happiness,
y do u have to go abruptly the minute after u let us felt ur presence? and when are you coming back? i'll be waiting... =)

to my friends here in SB,
cnu pa da indi adik? hahaha.. aylabyus for all! j't aime!

to my College Friends,
wala man kmu natak-an ck0n? hehe! din naman ta nyu maka-0n? Lovely, si Nick gd man? or si Klint? hahaha! 2 years na lng gli noh? and after we grad, will you all miss me? i'll surely do.

and to my Bespren,
we seldom see each other now. why do you have to go a long mile just to pursue a degree? why didn't you study here in the city instead? that's the one question i've been asking you in the past three years. i just can't fathom it. i know u have bigger dreams for urself, i'll always be here.

so people if you got some answers to my idiotic wonders, please drop by at our house. be sure though that i'm not whinning. or else..

i'm getting tipsy, i should ask no more.
chill. =)))

triple deja vu

the monitor is a blank space, and so is my brain --- again.
two. weeks. of. postless. blog. makes. my. alter. ego. mad. ---the writer one.(forgive ur blogger for being conceited! hehe..) vote Red for mayor of Loserville!

nevertheless, THERE'S SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE! (not counting the postponement of class on m0nday coz omnivores will be swarming to Jaro.)

and there's, Serena. SHE WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
damn! 10 Grand Slam titles overall. watchout Steffi Graf. Serena is as hot as Australia's scorching heat! even hotter than the center of the universe! she's just simply the hottest thing. any temperature-measuring device got broken. indeed, Serena fever is in the ayer ayer. in fact, it seems to be resurging.

i patiently waited for 24 hours(and went ahead of my friends in our weekly 'fat session') just to see her playing live on tv. but fate intervened and it's just too bad that i haven't seen her slamming her opponent down. these irritating sports channel. don't they know what tournament hooks their audiences? certainly, they don't. teh nag internet na lng ko eh para may updates man ko bskan scores lng.

hours ago, the sporting world saw Serena win(easily) her 4th Australian Open trophy. she continues to win in an odd-numbered years, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2009. everything is deja vu --- triple deja vu.

i dunno y. but it's always, always was, and always be an out-of-body experience for me to watch her clutch a Grand Slam trophy. watching her winning is the total sum(gd ya?) of my existence. it's the pinnacle of it all. and one more thing, she's back being the world no.1! and she just surpassed Anika Sorenstam as the highest earning female athlete of all time!
=)))
