thoughtless..i need a pustiso!

life is exceptionally hard, again.
classes had started a week ago.
loads of things to be accomplished.
and some not-so-important things that needs mending. *sigh

this is just pure torture.
enough of this whining, Red. en0ugh.

as i was strolling the shelves of a b0okstore yesterday, Youngblo0d 2.0 grabbed my attention. the b0ok is actually a cornucopia of essays written by a bunch of y0ung pe0ple from all walks of life, and of the road. corny Red. (haha..) hence the title, Youngblood 2.0..
twas funny and amusing how youth of those days('97-'98) viewed their experiences along the way. hello honest candor and wicked wit.

so how does a y0uth of the 21st century view s0me things? u ask. cge na lng gni, i'm in the mo0d to type dan. hihi..

ON SCHOOLING

if only Bill Gates would let me inherit the vastness of his wealth, i would never care to wake up very early in the morning just to educate(???) myself. if life is hard, thinking is way much harder! it's very strenuous. they say that out of 100% of things that we learn in school, roughly only 10 % remains in our coconut shells. does it apply to u too? or is it just on me? sch0ol is fun though. it allows you to discover things that experiences could never dare teach us. (du ka baliskad sng thought noh? hmm..) and cheating is one of those. *big grin..if anyone never did such, idareyou, cast a stone(boulder pwede man ah! gling basi mapatay naku na! anu na lng b future sng Philippines?! haha..) on me. but no, really, talking about the things school taught and imparted in me would take us a long while. unless, cheating is allowed.=) teachers teach us life's lessons, and cutting ur nails is one of them. 0uch. that stick hurts! and friends spell FUN. hearthrobs and chikabebes make hearts flutter when they appear 10 meters away on your radar. and exams and the likes increase wrinkles, therefore increases and puts Viki Belo on BIR's top ten highest annual income earner. where did she go to school anyway? haha..

P.S. if ur place is 10+ meters below sea level, u don't have a choice but to wake up very very early and see if u can get more than a drop of water. lunurin ang MIWD!!! lunurin! lunurin!

ON BLOGGING

action speaks louder than blog. says wh0?! sometimes, a blog is the hellish way of expressing ur thoughts when u can't put them into actions. i like blogging. i think it gives me the freedom to express the thoughts that prohibits me to say in a society governed by stereotyping and stupidity.(hey, i'm a part of that society.)

P.S. I MISS THIS. damn! a huge tnx to my 5 followers. you all make my stay here easier for me. and u all inspire me a lot. nakz! okey sa 0lrayt!=)))


ON BOOKS

i pretty adore b0oks to0. in the words of the very inspirational(haha..) Bob Ong, 'tao ka, at merong karne sa gitna ng iyong dalawang tenga na kailangang pakainin.' how true. how very true. b0oks are my companions on a day when boredom kills. it never fails to entertain after a day full of tv & internet. it teaches us, makes us laugh, cry, or even wail sometimes. and the best part? it's when u have yaman(*ehem!) friends who's willing to lend you their collections! hehe..'b0oks are lighthouses', as the p0et once put it, 'erected in the seas of time. they are the engineers and architects of the foundations of mankind. they are the windows to the world. the magicians, teachers, and inventors of the universe. bo0ks are humanity in print.'

P.S. nabakal ko na gd man gna ang youngbl0od 2.0! hehe..mahal gling ang 'Tales of Beedle the Bard' ni JK. whew..i'll give it a try next time.


ON POLITICS

just pure SOS. Same Old Stuff. what's new? Philippine politics is one big telenovela. just picture this out, Gloria is the leading lady, the congressmen are her suitors who would go the mo0n and reach the stars just to get her '0o'. the people who run the telenovela is making money out of it. hey, money is the name of the game. the Filipino people is the audience. unfortunately for the audience, the telenovela is always a replay. p0or audiences. but i know there's still some who know that money can buy them a king-size bed(is there such? i think queen-size lng.) but never a go0dnight sleep. can buy them a multilevel house but never a harmonious home. and delicious foods but never the appetite.

P.S. i better stop this innuendos before the leading lady's legal counsel sue my ass in court!

and on LOVE.
hmm..what should be said? LOVE is a word. a four-letter word. and there's more to it than that.
baw. du piho aw. haha.. some people though don't get to know the aftermath of it. pain. hurt.(four-letter words are all over the place!) and sometimes, suicide.(this definitely is not a four-letter word.) there's no pain in love. how could love itself hurt? pain is just the mere consequence of it. and it's because there's lack of love. if u feel like crying, teh hibi ka eh! problema bla na?! be sure enough though, that the person is worth the tears. if otherwise, pag anu ya nga! huh. for those who are in a relationship, live the moment. and never cease to appreciate who and what u both have. and to my colleagues(haha!), the singletons, have patience and learn to wait. what's the rush? there's plenty of time anyway. just wait coz who knows, it might just take u by surprise. if you feel the person is the 'one', then go get it. we all take a risk when we open our hearts. because the truth is, we will get hurt. you can't open your heart and not have some hurt because you're in a human experience.
