Christmas.
what really is it? do we seldom experience such hence we have trouble defining it?
when we were still kids, my parents used to tell me and my sister to hang our used socks or plastic bags outside the window coz Santa and his reindeer are 'coming to town' to give gifts to children who have been good all throughout the year.
we then happily oblige them and see to it that we are well-behaved that day.
i remember then that i can't sleep on thinking what would Santa give me.
*the best one i received was a train! complete with railroads and it's signs.. hah..hah =)
only to find out in the aftermath that Santa wasn't the one we're accustomed to see.
naka-duster gli si Santa. sagad-sagad sya magluto. sya gli na ang gabugtaw kada aga para magluto sang sud-an kag kan-on namun. kag and pinakanami sa tanan, NANAY ko sya! whitwhew!
=))
our Christmas celebration this year is simple. we are four in the family so celebrations and milestones tend to be celebrated the simple way. =)))
well, at least for them, they don't know about me. LOLS!
the three(mom & sister) of us went to church to hear the Misa de Aguinaldo.
the choir's really really go0d. 2 big thumbs up!
0ur noche buena? twas a last minute preparation because everybody was busy going everywhere that we forgot our own f0od! haha..
there were lotsa fo0ds this Christmas. it was all worth the cholesterol overload! Christmas is not the best time for dieting, i tell you.
*in the words of Pugad Baboy's Agadulfo "Dagul" Sungcal, 'the greatest adventure one could ever ride is discovering new things edible.'
i thank GOD for everything 'cause this one, is undoubtedly, the best Christmas celebration i ever had.
HAPPY YULETIDE SEASON!!!
